Tago Write · Privacy
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Tago Company, operated by Chanwoo Song, handles information in Tago Write, a Korean writing-learning application.
Effective August 17, 2026 · Last updated August 20, 2026
1. Information we collect
- Account information: a Supabase user ID, sign-in method, and the email address or basic authentication information provided by Apple or Google. Guest use relies on an anonymous user ID.
- Learning information: writing submitted for feedback, feedback results, learning history, progress, and saved expressions. Unsubmitted drafts normally remain on the device.
- Security information: an installation identifier, IP address, request time, request type, and processing status used to prevent abuse and investigate failures.
- Optional analytics: screen events and error information only when the user enables anonymous analytics in Settings. Writing content is not included in analytics events.
2. Why we use information
- To provide authentication, writing feedback, dictionary tools, account linking, and learning records.
- To enforce daily usage limits and detect abuse, security incidents, and service failures.
- To improve reliability and usability when optional analytics is enabled.
- To respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.
3. Google user data
Google Sign-In provides Tago Write with an account identifier, email address, and any basic profile information made available during authentication, such as a display name or profile image. We use this information only to authenticate the user, link an account, and restore learning records across devices.
Tago Write does not access Google Drive, contacts, Gmail, calendars, or other Google service data. Google account information is stored through Supabase Auth. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or use it to train advertising profiles.
Deleting the account from Tago Write removes the related server data, including account information obtained through Google, subject to limited retention required by law or routine backup deletion cycles.
4. Service providers and international processing
When writing is submitted for AI feedback, the prompt, writing, and necessary context are sent to the AI processing service. Do not include names, contact details, secrets, or other unnecessary personal information in writing submissions.
We use service providers only as necessary to operate Tago Write. Their servers may process information outside the user’s country.
- Supabase — authentication, database, storage, and server functions.
- DeepSeek API — AI processing of writing and the context required to provide feedback.
- PostHog — optional interaction events and error analysis when analytics is enabled.
5. Retention and deletion
Account and learning information is retained while the service is provided or until the user deletes it. Security and failure logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for abuse prevention and incident response.
Users can delete their account and related server data from Settings › Delete account. The deletion cannot be undone. Backup copies are removed through each provider’s ordinary retention cycle, except where limited retention is legally required.
6. Choices and requests
Optional analytics can be enabled or disabled at any time in Settings. Requests to access, correct, or delete information can be sent to the contact address below. We may need to verify the requester’s identity.
7. Security and children
We use reasonable safeguards including encrypted transport, authentication, access controls, and usage limits. Users who require consent from a parent or legal guardian must obtain it before using Tago Write.
