Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how Tago Company, operated by Chanwoo Song (the “Operator”), handles information in Tago Write, a Korean writing-learning application.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: Supabase user ID, sign-in method, and authentication information supplied by Apple or Google. Guest use relies on an anonymous user ID.
• Learning information: submitted essays, AI feedback, learning history, progress and saved expressions. Unsubmitted drafts are normally stored only on the device.
• Security information: an installation identifier, IP address, request time, category and processing status.
• Optional analytics: interaction events and error information only when enabled in Settings. Essay text is not included in analytics events.

2. How we use information

• Provide authentication, AI feedback, dictionary features, learning records and other App functions.
• Enforce daily limits and detect abuse, security incidents and service failures.
• Analyze usage and improve quality when analytics is enabled.
• Respond to support requests and meet legal obligations.

3. Google user data

Google Sign-In may provide an account identifier, email address and basic profile information. We use it only to authenticate you, link your account and carry over learning records. We do not access Google Drive, Gmail, Contacts, Calendar or other Google service data.

Google user data is stored through Supabase Auth. We do not sell it, use it for advertising or disclose it except to processors needed for the Service or when required by law. In-app account deletion removes related data, subject to legally required retention and ordinary backup deletion cycles.

4. Service providers and international processing

Their servers may be outside your country or region.

• Supabase: authentication, database storage and server functions.
• DeepSeek API: AI processing of submitted essays and feedback context.
• PostHog: interaction events and error analysis for users who opt in.

We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep account and learning information while providing the Service or until account deletion. Security, request and error records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for abuse prevention, incident response and reliability.

Delete your account and associated server data from Settings > Delete account. Related data on the current device is also removed. Deletion cannot be undone. Processor backups are cleared through ordinary backup cycles. Information required by law may be retained for a limited period.

6. Your choices and rights

You can enable or disable analytics in Settings. Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, copy or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent. We may verify your identity.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards including encrypted transmission, access controls, authentication and usage limits. No method is completely secure.

8. Children

If parental or guardian consent is required in your region, use the App only with that consent. The App is not directed to children under 13.

9. Regional notices and changes

Mandatory local privacy rights are not limited by this Policy. Mainland China distribution requires additional cross-border, representation or filing steps where applicable. Tago Write should not be treated as available there until those steps and any required separate notice or consent are complete.

We will notify users of material changes in the App or on this page.
